Working with Griffin Art Projects on their digital brochure for SHIFT: A Virtual Conference on the Ecologies of Fashion, Form + Textile, was a very unique opportunity in that my career as an illustrator and artist has not been very institutionally-adjacent. It was deeply educational to engage in the Arts sector through an institutional lens. I appreciated the opportunities to consider writing and designing for specific audiences. Clarity and consistency were at the forefront of this project. There was a significant amount of information to share in a small space. It was imperative that the design fully utilized the page parameters while also providing visual spaces of respite. With the gorgeous art featured informing the overall design, this project came together very naturally, just as Faune Ybarra and I as collaborators.
