When my good friend and fellow CreativeMornings/Vancouver volunteer, Annelies Tjebbes, reached out in need of graphic design and infographic help on a project focusing on economic development in Prince George, I just couldn't say no. Not only did this project present itself as a great opportunity to get into community-focused graphic design work, but it also allowed me to work with a client type I never had before. I immediately perceived this to be a project which would educate me personally in a multitude of ways. I am very proud of the efforts Annelies and I made collectively to bring accessibility and understanding to very technical and complex information. This was a proud first step in a journey of accessible communications design.
