Artwork for Maple Ridge Community Foundation 50th Anniversary Apparel
When my creative collaborator, Amy Pridday, reached out with an idea for merchandise to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Maple Ridge Community Foundation, I excitedly got on board. Throughout the Maple Ridge Artist Residency, Maple Ridge Community Foundation and Drawing Thanks have found much overlap in the folks they choose to celebrate. It felt only natural to help them create something special that would give folks across Maple Ridge a sense of belonging and place. It was a delightful process to interview folks drawn throughout the residency to determine which locations, scenes, flora, and fauna make people think of their hometown.
